At thirteen years old he started with a weekly cartoon in a syndicated newspaper publication throughout the New England area. He published over 400 cartoons between the ages of 13-18 which lead him to pursue a B.F.A. at the Art Institute of Boston for Illustration and Fine Arts.
He spent several years working as a muralist and scenic artist providing large installations for theaters, museums, events, and custom art for companies including: Disney, Pfizer, McDonalds, Boston Ballet Nutcracker, State Farm, Honda, Hasbro, The Huntington Theater, Logan Airport, Boston’s Museum Of Science, Boston Red Sox, Democratic National Convention, W.B. Mason, Harvard University, American Repertory Theatre, Cartoon Network, Busch Gardens, Liberty Mutual, eBay, Reebok Paul has spent much of the last 15 years on a movie set as the on-set scenic painter or “camera scenic” for recognizable titles like: Mall cop, Grown Ups 1 and 2, Shutter Island, Captain Phillips, R.I.P.D., Zookeeper, American Hustle, The Judge, The Heat, That’s my Boy, Here Comes the Boom, Black Mass, The Finest Hours, Central Intelligence, Super Troopers 2, Patriots Day, Daddy’s Home 2, Castle Rock, and several other features, television and commercial productions as well as producing many of his own short movies.
